i was the opposite, the stereotype of the "no im lower class" rich guy because while my dad was an engineer, i thought we were poor because i went to a Catholic school where half the kids had parents who owned half of a city and my parents were constantly telling me we "couldn't afford" things

All a matter of perspective. When I went away to college none of my friends had to take out loans like I did because their parents just paid for it all. But back home, none of my friends there could afford to go at all. So I guess I was the middlest class there was.

It’s almost as if middle class is almost meaningless since you’ll generally be between the two extremes.
