I just recently noticed you were working on this sound chip - I am doing a lot of work with the audio in Beatmania 5-key games, which use this to play back audio! Glad to see you are chipping away at it from another angle.

That's interesting, I didn't know it was used in those games.
Beatmania sounded to me like a modern enough series to use "pre-rendered" audio tracks.
