Are journalists taking too soft an approach to Trump's hard rhetoric? CBC Radio’s Brent Bambury asked me that question and I answered in the emphatic affirmative. Give it a listen. www.cbc.ca/listen/live-radio/1-14-day-6/clip/16207998-are-journalists-taking-soft-approach-trumps-hard-rhetoric

Since day back before the 2016 election they gave him a pass & still do on every horrible thing he has said or done. Unlike, Dems who they rip to shreds over nothing.

Who-what can replace NPR?
I still think some pair drawn from Jon Stewart, David Sirota, Glenn Greenwald and others at their level could form a nucleus of a national outlet which could compete profitably with Breaking Points. Comments?

Media has been doing a great to disservice to thepublic by trying to make rational the irrational. Minutes after listening to this, I hear Smerconish defend Trump's demented post as a calculated strategy.

"Appalling and demented", indeed.
Confronting him is useless like trying to nail a jelly to the wall.
The 'truth sandwich' immediately soaked in a soup of lies.

I mean, this was barely a year ago.
And there's zero evidence that cbc learned anything from it.

Years and years ago driving home from work (Toledo, OH area) after a late night shift, I would listen to the CBC program Brave New Waves hosted by Brent Bambury. Mentioned this to a Canadian friend yesterday, and today I see his name mentioned by you. Way cool.
