was gonna say, i’ve scrolled 4chan a couple of times bc i knew it was the meme capital of the internet but a lot of it was so vile that the site users’ fictions about themselves fell apart for me immediately. enormously off-putting site even back then.

I think there’s a pretty defined line between 4chan user and person whose gawking at it for sure
