It’s good that the description includes an approximate date. I’m not particularly interested in religions, but church buildings are fascinating. After all, they reveal whether the area was home to wealthy people or rather poor ones.

Fascinating to see how buildings change as you drive from pretty much any direction towards South East England. Reflects where the wealth ended up (apart from landowners or industrialists).

I live in northern Germany, between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. There are prosperous towns on the Baltic coast: Flensburg, Schleswig and Lübeck. The North Sea coast is rather poorer, and the inland areas are hardly worth mentioning.
