I've never read a history book that judged. What I read are explanations of what happened. In this case, I'd bet the story will be how the United States, once the most powerful country in the history of history, was destroyed when the world united against a madman.

Hell, taking a US History class now, and I can say unabashedly that like every iteration I took before, its mostly ignoring everyone else and focuses its narrative damn nesr exclusively on white rich Americans' view of things and mentions anyone else basically as a footnote.
