I used to work in Hagerstown, and still live in Maryland (although a couple of hours away from there). I'm proud of my fellow Marylanders for becoming a national model for effective resistance!

I lived in Hagerstown for the first 27 years of my life before moving to the Annapolis area. Seeing the plans for this detention center breaks my heart, but I'm so happy that many in the area are protesting it!
