My book Courtroom Science and Trans Youth is out TODAY, just in time for Trans Day of Visibility!

It’s about how courts treat science and scientific expertise in family law cases involving trans children, and how we need to do better and stop medicalizing and gatekeeping them.

forced to socially live as a boy then endure that wrong puberty...of course she's depersonalized/can't exist/tortured to suicide/etc. Inhumanly cruel to force kids to not live as their sex (themselves), then as teens endure the wrong puberty which permanently deforms them, etc.

Now, chat, I need your help getting this book in the hands on those who need it most! Here’s how you can help even if you don’t buy a copy for yourself.

First, you can share my post both here and on other social media (e.g. screenshot).

Second, you can request every library with which you have a connection to acquire a copy. This is actually how I make most of my money from academic books—and it also means it’s there already when people need it.

Oooh. This looks so good. I’m working on a project related to reproductive health medical evidence in courts. And this is going to be so relevant. Will buy and make sure OSU library orders a copy.
