Probes and telescopes are great. Human spaceflight is a dead end biologically and too expensive to justify. We’re on the verge of extinction and people wanna burn money on cosmism nonsense.

Why focus on the relatively tiny amount of money spent on worthwhile endeavours like peaceful exploration, when the massive pile of money spent on blowing people up is right there?

Well I can be opposed to both now can’t I? The fact is there’s ALWAYS money for rockets but when poor people need help there’s none. Helping people is more important than “space.”
