You're telling me humanity, despite our insane technological progress- if we don't lead to our own extinction. Which is unlikely actually, won't leave this planet within 5 billion years?

I really don't understand this "everything ends" mentality dawg..

Why be defeatist about our existence? We as a species have done things that are technically 'impossible' like space exploration because we're not meant to be in space, but we're being unsure if would ever leave?

The funny thing is Humanity may very well outlive the Earth if we can manage to find other habitable worlds, or ways to survive on uninhabitable ones. I'm hopeful that some day in the far flung future Earth will be something for humanity to look back on, because it will mean we've survived the worst

Because everything DOES end, eventually.

It's the natural order.

And it's not a bad thing, or something to be feared.

Every human dies. Every civilization, government, social group eventually dies, to make way for something new.
