On one hand, REmake is nearly perfect, even at twenty plus years old.

On the other, I think they have been doing a pretty good job, and enough time has passed (?). I am prepared to be wrong, though.

These people all sound insane. Both the guys calling a remaster a remake and wanting the game cropped to 16:9, and Jeff having a meltdown over what was just a remaster of a 12 year old Gamecube game.

Honestly, at this point? Fucking send it, I’d love their new writers and scenario designers to get their grubby mitts all over RE1

0 is probably coming first though if the “assets in the newest mainline game have been pulled from the in dev remake” trend from 7 and 8 holds firm

I wish I could say that we don't need a remake of the RE1 remake, but I said the same about RE4 remake and I loved it so much that I Platinum'd that game within two months.

So now, I'll say to Capcom, "Shut up and take my money...again!"

Couldn’t they just do a remaster of the og remake? That game is almost perfect already. It would also give the game another chance to earn the success it deserves since if I recall correctly it didn’t sell very well back then.
