Music can be tricky because while the song may be public domain the recording of a specific performance may not be. That said, the Library of Congress has a lot of public domain audio that is fun to poke through!

I would also add the internet archive to this list. If you pay attention to whats fallen into the public domain you can sort by date and find all kinds of great art. I recently posted about how my upcoming project does exactly this.
