A lot of people work directly out of Google Drive, regardless of what device they're on.

That's a stupid thing to do, of course, but Google advertises this as an advantage of being in its ecosystem and invites people relying on the security of its systems.

I design the Data Centers for Google that all of this is stored in, for a living.

It is a bad idea to leave all of your important business/life documents in a public cloud service, free or paid.

Nice for the convenience of accessing from anywhere. Not a viable long term business plan.

You're arguing against a point that I'm not making.

Yes, it is an *extremely bad* idea to do this. Nevertheless, this is something Google actively encourages through its advertising and the market positioning of its products. Because Google is an evil company.
