Yeah “no diagnosis = its not real” isnt a great argument. The DSM is not the arbiter of truth.

No, it isn’t. But also we should be suspicious of the urge to invent mental illnesses to pathologize people that we find irritating or whatever (that’s how homosexuality got into earlier editions of the DSM).
