Jay Bhattacharya likes to claim that he was so disturbed that his idiotic ideas were “censored” that HE and only HE will promote open discussion of scientific ideas.

In science, we do that through peer-reviewed studies. But he is now blocking the publication of studies that show he’s wrong.

That's what I have always loved about true science. Its ability to hold a mirror to itself through peer reviews. To have the fortitude to allow someone else to closely review your work and call you out if there were mistakes or issues.

First thing that popped into my head was the episode of the Simpsons where Homer gets smart and proves God isn't real and then Flanders says "Can't let this get out" and burns the paper.
