do you believe yourself to be beyond death? better than it?

Humans can fly to the moon surely we can beat death. Probably won't happen before I die but at some point we will. Also is that belief bad?

I've given it some more thought, I think life and death clearly and obviously represent existence and non existence. Of course I would believe existence is better and beyond non existence.
