Whats fucked up about water, is lots of the shareholders are actually public organisations either foreign (largest shareholder in Thames Water is Ontario pension fund) or ours (2nd largest shareholder is Universities Superannuation fund). Public organisations screwing other people over for money.

Whatโ€™s also fโ€™ked up (IMHO) is pension companies relying on dividends from utilities and other essential services to pay people higher pensions to cover the inflated price of goods due to dividend payments to pension companies.
