People will almost always gravitate toward that which supports emotionally based, pre-conceived beliefs. This can be difficult to combat with facts unless those facts can also be connected to emotions.

After thousands of doors I can confirm. The US has much racism and misogyny to work through. Many find facts so threatening they’ll choose self-harm or aggression rather than reflect.
It heartens me that just as many have the courage to face truth and do good.

Then there’s the transactional folks.🤷🏽‍♀️
