Agreed. Unbearable to see such bad lawyering, with real consequences for a person who is going to suffer for their clownish antics.

And the consequences don't just stop with that person. The lawyers who do this end up encouraging both the prosecutors and the appellate judges to view the entire criminal defense bar in a negative light. The result is that other appellants' legitimate arguments are not given full fair consideration
