We JUST saw him in the comics get backdoored by Lex Luthor and need a bailout like a month ago. People really don't know.

But how many of those people have a read a comic this millennium?

Then again Superman got his butt kicked by Lex with kryptonite in the 70s, by Zod & friends in the 80s, as well as Evil Clark Kent and ... Solar Man in live action movies.
