it is utterly amazing to me how big orgs will cover for bad actors no matter what the cost, til it blows up in their faces.

I reported somebody in USFS, and the retaliation was *ferocious*.

I held on, and within a year it blew up and the leadership all got fired. but yeah, career gone, no regrets.
