This idea actually could work.

Quite the indictment, though, that this has a better chance of being successful than Republicans ever standing up for the rule of law, for basic human decency and for the protection of the US Constitution, which they all swore the Oath to protect.

And let him sign an executive order (which is actually a Power of Attorney, but he is too far gone to know that) allowing the sale of all of his assets, domestic and abroad, to (in part) cover just what he has cost this country and fellow man.
