This is the issue, one day of road closures, big event, ok. Two days you’re pushing your luck. These are public roads and not everyone is a cycling fan, something those trying to commercialise cycling conveniently forget.

Oh. Paris- Roubaix had a sportive today, two days of road closures. So ASO does not want to pay for the broadcast team.

Good points. The compromise would be flag-finish coverage for the women. No one would complain at that!
