I lived on public assistance with 2 sons & getting bachelor's degree +part-time job. Worse than ppl imagine happens to ppl. Not all welfare casewrkrs are good ppl & some men in those positions harm you. Plus ppl treat you like you're crap when poor. Etc. I became a social wrker to treat ppl well.
