As we discussed on @polphilpod.bsky.social, a lot of people will say by focusing on negatives of Labour's policies we don't give enough credence to the positive policies. Fair enough, I guess, but the positive policies don't remotely outweigh the negative ones and their impacts on people's lives.

What I also find is people ignore I tend to comment on very specific areas, because those are the policy areas I know about and work on, predominately rights based e.g. migrants rights, trans rights etc, and on those areas of policy Labour is now to the right of previous Conservative governments.

I keep saying it doesn't matter how nice someone is to you, it's the fact they've just kicked you in the nads that you tend to remember.
