Don't say Congress. Put the blame squarely where it belongs with the REPUBLICANS who hold all the power in Congress.

Chris Murphy, Yassamin Ansari, Melanie Stansbury, Rashida Tlaib, & Ed Markey have all called for Trump's removal as of this morning. No Republicans have. Many other Democrats have called out his statement, again no Republicans in office have.

Nixon only resigned because his own party told him he had to or he'd be convicted at an Impeachment trial.

Republicans need to be called out for not doing that here.

I don't think your statement that Congress is "totally fine with this" squares with the numerous statements from elected Democrats in Congress calling this out and in several cases calling for Trump's removal because of it.

Statements alone aren't enough, but I'm not going to fall to Murc's Law.
