The former astronauts on MSNOW were saying they were traveling at Mach 32. How does the body only experience Mach 4? And were there sonic booms that we couldn’t hear because of the distance?

Mach is a measure of speed. Each Mach number is X times the speed of sound.

G force is a measure of acceleration. Each G number is X times the force of gravity.

High speed with no acceleration wouldn’t feel like anything on the body. They only can feel the G factor.
