He played in Israel in 2017 and said at the time "We don’t endorse Netanyahu any more than Trump, but we still play in America."

He got mad at someone interrupting a concert in 2024 looking for an explicit statement of condemnation.

What "support" of genocide are you actually asking about here?

Has he been too silent on the subject? Yes, although he has made explicitly anti-Netanyahu statements in 2025.

Why his relative though not complete silence on Gaza gets interpreted as support for Israel, but so many other famous people's silence gets ignored is selective outrage.
