It's not clear to me the extent of Swalwell's behavior that was an "open secret" before his accusers went public yesterday. But going on the record with accusations against a powerful and popular politician will make any accuser's life worse.

Right!!! I just love (loathe) this idea that women are lying just for the attention. Yeah sure, they totally elevate status by going public. Do you people hear yourselves?!?
