It bears consideration that his current media bubble includes zero exposure to people who disagree with him. He watches FoxNews and gets bootlicking. He encounters pols and aides in the WH -- same story.

He lives in a world of people who tell him, over and over, that everything he does is wonderful and anyone who disagrees is evil or dumb.

And then he shows up to SOTU and it breaks his brain to encounter (quite mild) opposition.
