I'm sorry- before or after the introduction of any QR code- the whole idea of eating a meal during a movie with wait staff scurrying about, even if hidden is a horrible idea. I can hardly stand people eating popcorn, I just can't imagine the hell of this place.

The last film I saw in an Alamo was "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness".
It wasn't "Hamnet", but I was invested in it.
Beside me were a duo who ordered drinks and food through half of the film. It annoyed the hell out of me. Were they there to eat or watch a movie??? Never again.

I won’t go to the Everyman Cinemas in the uk anymore for that same reason. They’re touted as being luxury cinemas for film-lovers, but with servers walking in and out throughout the film, and people talking to them and then to each other about who ordered what, it’s a HORRIBLE experience.
