I rember having a conversation with a young teacher from Moscow. She was born around 1980 & I have a minor in Russian history. When I asked about St Basil's cathedral & if the church had been fully restored for worship, she was puzzled because the church is now a museum & has services.

The young woman had no idea that the Church was once a sacred place & that a museum would have been unthinkable. She also knew no history of the Orthodox faith or its profound influence in Moscow.
Trump is out to do like Putin & erase significant history from our country.
