NORA SPEAKING UPDATE (Chinese edition)
After coming home from school today, Nora pointed to some fruit in the fridge and said "wo yao chi (I want to eat)". She then said "bu yao (don't want)" to the rice I cooked her, took me to the fridge, pointed to the scallion pancake, and said "wo yao chi"

I have a nonverbal autistic son; seeing this update has made me so happy, and I know how much this means. And to get both affirmation and negation! We are still striving for this. How amazing.

Nora's mom is Chinese, so she hears it in the house, and she watches a lot of Chinese shows on her iPad. We try to teach her in English, but I'd be ecstatic if she ended up learning both!
