Men can come forward, and they can at least not endorse or check out the story/ask someone on their staff to check out the story.

Do some due diligence, you don’t even have to say why publicly.

The Government Affairs folks at the unions, who happen to be men that I know know about this, could have done a better job of educating their leadership prior to endorsement, too. It’s a valid concern, and, again at least check it out.
