Destruction of the USPS is another Republican goal they’ve been working toward for decades.

Beyond the "let's make their numbers look awful by making them pre-fund pension obligations" intentional fuckery, there's also the fact that it's fine to run a deficit equal to like five days of our optional war in Iran to run a SERVICE that delivers to everyone in every remote corner of the US.

I guess Trump figured hiring a FedEX board member to run the USPS was a good way to help kill vote by mail.

"Lost money"? M'Kay....

What kind of profit did the FDA bring in? How much did the US Marine Corps add to the bottom line? Did the USAF meets its revenue targets?

USPS. It’s a resource lifeline for *every* major and micro demographic that “moderate” politicians claim is the reason they don’t confront their corrupt an/or extremist colleagues “in the spirit of bipartisanship” and to not alienate un-winnable voters. Yet when they had the chance, they shrugged.

I've never understood the antipathy. There are a hell of a lot of Republican voters for whom USPS is a lifeline, particularly in rural areas that no private courier would ever touch. Did Oregon's vote by mail program set them off?

USPS is a SERVICE! It is not supposed to make a profit. Instead of giving the Pentagon an unlimited budget start paying for our postal services instead!
