I've been quietly building kindling.wtf — a regenerative feed layer that removes cruelty without removing controversy.

The idea: your feed shouldn't be full of spite masquerading as reasonable commentary, but it also shouldn't sanitize away legitimate anger at injustice.

Using social media should feel good, or at least neutral. When it doesn't, it's often because of the conversational texture. There's so much glee in the suffering of random people.

Kindling aims to address this, while also giving you the tools to manage the flames.(2/4)

'm building a system that recognizes intent & directionality, so someone can bully a billionaire, but not a random person. They can laugh at a bigot getting just desserts, not a grandma who they disagreed with online last week.

You see each decision & why. You set the threshold or override. (3/4)

I would love to try this out as you roll it out!

The transparency and customizability are especially appealing to me.
