I'm glad they've found peace there I just can't stomach it myself without like having in pesron jewish friends or the like. Like why should I join a religion I have no historical or family ties to. It'd feel like either tyring to join an oppressed class or trying to become a coloniser.

when "Judaism" was suggested, the expectation would be that you would go and learn and maybe make friends if the community spoke to you
