So this happened on our trip to Costa Rica. Fortunately not MY hat and the member of our group eventually got her hat back. The moral of the story is - hold onto your stuff if capuchin monkeys are around. #BadMonkey #wildlife

When we were in Costa Rica years ago we stayed in a place that was partially open air. The monkeys got into our kitchen and when we returned home one of them whipped a butter dish at us. 🫣🐒
