I loved that recollection of the 30's Director of 'Metropolis', Fritz Lange, when he found himself in Goebbel's office, after being invited to direct Nazi propaganda movies (much like Netanyahoo chasing Shapiro currently).
He said he kept an eye on the town clock out of the window...
