I feel like I understand that it was a different time back then but I just do not believe I would take my family to a special town purpose built to have two giant locomotives crash into each other, I think even as a 19th century man I would say to myself, "that sounds dangerous".

You have to understand, though, that the 19th century did not have video games.

I imagine I would think of it the same way that I think of monster truck rallies and demolition derbies (extremely sick)
