According to military times they are reporting that eligible young men will automatically be registered for U.S. military draft starting December 2026

I thought they already were? or did they stop doing that for a while?

like I'm pretty sure I got some sort of thing when I turned 18 that was like "you're now eligible for the draft" and I'm 45

YOUNG PEOPLE.... be Conscientious Objectors. Seriously, fill out the paperwork and tell the gov't that you refuse to die so some multimillionaires can get richer.

There are serious social and legal consequences, I won't lie to you.

But don't do as my generation did and fall for the lies.

Selective service registration has been mandatory since 1980.

True, but you had to fill out a form for it. The law was changed to automatic enrollment when you turn 18.
