I have had one chance to see Prince live. Wembley Arena London.
Terrible venue on an unbelievably hot night with no Air Con ( this was the 70's)People puking and fainting around me . I had to leave halfway through the show as the heat and smell was unbearable. Biggest gig regret of my life.

And,I have seen Boney M, so that biggest regret thing is real.
p.s. Boney M was my sister in laws pick and my husbandly duty.

It took two more guitars and a large accompaniment to do it, but a hell of a tribute to Prince.

What an awesome homage. I admit that in the past I was not a huge Springsteen fan. Iโ€™m kinda won over now. What a good guy, doing lotsa good things with his platform.

I saw Prince live 3 times. He was an incredible showman. Seen Springsteen once... took the bloody roof off the stadium. This sent tingles up and down my spine, to have been there in the crowd in Minneapolis must have been incredible. I saw him in Liverpool and ... he did 2 songs with Paul McCartney!

The Boss covering Prince in Minneapolis? That's pure sonic storytelling โ€” the way artists honor each other through music says so much about cultural lineage and artistic DNA. Would love to dive deep into how cover songs become acts of musical archaeology.

Amazing rendition. I hope Bruce and other ppl with a microphone and large audience keep up their advocacy for good.

They are citizens and have a right to voice their opinions. Also, they are taking risks, losing fans, death threats, etc.

Eyes closed, music running through head, chills in my spine. Remembering, dreaming the world before Trump took it over. Emotional to think what has become since he took office. The terror, fear, felt everyday.
When that tomorrow comes that he and his goons are gone, Purple Rain will prevail.

There was one performance that will live forever. The Almighty actually provided special effects with purple rain during a wild storm when the NFL opened for Prince and then closed for him.

Excellent interpretation ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป, no doubt! Hearing this though makes me wonder, would Prince ever be brave enough to sing that "Born in the USA" of yours? Probably not. Horses for courses ๐Ÿ˜‡...
