There's very little procurement research out there so I read a lot of conference proceedings and anyway this one is super fun because it reinforces that, at least in the US regulatory environment, universities can't confirm anything vendors promise about data privacy. Neat!

Huge issue in schools as well

I was told to F off repeatedly when I was a school DPO because I blocked edtech procurement and people just went around me … I hope there are some expensive class actions soon

Here's some fun research that lowkey suggests learning analytics can be used to out trans and nonbinary learners. Neat! This is so great, this is definitely pedagogy, I love it here.
