11th completed game of 2026 is Metroid Prime (2002). I'd bounced off it before, but this time I persevered through its myriad patience-trying elements (spongy enemies, sparse save points, and a baffling late-game fetch quest). At least the world design and movement were very cool! I rate it a 7/10.
