Capitalism is a fascinating system because it wants to kill itself so badly. Every internal mechanism in capitalism leads to basically this exact current situation and it has no pro-capitalist reform off ramps. It’s astounding it’s lasted 300 years

Capitalism isn’t self-aware. It’s not alive. It’s not a person. People make the rules and regulations that control how the system operates. Capitalism is a tool, nothing more. We, humans, use it effectively or destructively.
