BONZO FACT:
this starter trio originally was poliwag, oddish, with grubbid as an entirely new pokémon. i ultimately decided to scrap a couple of these guys and make them all original.

i originally made them all split evos since they’re all based on fairytale tropes and i wanted each one to have a “bad ending” and a “good ending” to their evolution lines.
