A missed opportunity.

Like if you would have voted Corbyn
RT if you did

It's as if an inventor develops a ground breaking product and then employed the worlds worst salesman to promote it
Thats where we were

I'm surprised you're such a Corbyn fan - he didn't defend our European bonds either.

Corbyn's support of Brexit is part of the reason why the country is in an awful mess.

Exactly, both Brexiters which is why I couldnt vote for either of them

Or none of the above. Corbyn failed to recognise Russia threat refusing to criticise them for Salisbury attacks, massive failure of judgment. And Johnson was just awful. Lib Dem’s were also available as an option.

Johnson partied with the Russians.

Literally the worst possible election choice in modern times.

Two utterly dreadful people.

The missed opportunity was not voting for Andy Burnham instead of idiot corbyn, who facilitated an 80 seat majority for liar Johnson thr worst UK PM ever. Yes I voted Labour but it was despite him not because of him. I also nearly resigned my membership because of him.

Is it possible that both options were too awful to contemplate?

I am natural Labour supporter, but like many others, I voted for Corbyn to try to limit the majority of the Tories. I wouldn’t have voted for him if I thought there was any chance he would win. The result did not reflect how much people feared Corbyn. I haven’t changed my mind.

A cross-party parliamentary meeting to alleviate the negative effects of a no-deal Brexit. He was beyond useless.

When's Starmer getting us back in the EU then?

Corbyn killed this country with his LOVE of the tories and johnson. He decided to back brexit which has DESTROYED US. Can we give him a full life tariff with ALL brexit losers/voters.

Corbyn wasn’t perfect but he was a darn sight better than the Tory option. If Corbyn had won the country would have been very different today, arguably better. If nothing else, it would have meant we missed the disaster that was Truss.

The Truss disaster would have happened a couple of years earlier. They are both ideologues, who don’t realise that you can’t change the system by attacking it with a sledgehammer. The markets would have reacted to his budget in exactly the same way as they did to Truss.

Its strange that Corbyn was rejected because his policies were too out there and unaffordable and now the reality whivh voild bavecbeen avoided is now happening theres a movemnet towards him.

I was only a few months too young 😭 I lived in a Tory majority but I would’ve done anything to vote Corbyn </3

It was an opportunity we had... And labour lost in a landslide, tory control was cemented, adding to the misery of all.

Jeremy Corbyn was never the answer no matter how many times you ask the question

He had his chance and monumentally blew it.
My lasting memory is of Mr Corbyn unsuccessfully hiding behind a pillar in a buildings' lobby, after being whisked away by numerous 'fixers' in order to evade waiting journalists outside.

I didn’t think he was the right man for the job though I did like his policies

What do you think the right "man" looks like? And why would you choose right(?) person/wrong policies over "wrong" person/right policies? Genuinely curious.

Comment if you left the Labour party because of the betrayal of its core socialism.

Left because of Corbyn. Not coming back because of Starmer.

O’Brien includes Corbyn as one of the people responsible for “breaking Britain”. The chapter focussed on him is damming.

Corbyn spent 40yrs as a back bencher, just parroting and voting against his party. He was utterly useless with nothing to show
