They’ll point to preemptive pardons by Biden, and the media will both sides it. Which is why Biden should never have pardoned his son and others in his circle

The system is seriously flawed. Trump is giving them the green light to continue to commit felonies. It will be interesting to see who will get the pardon if trump does not finish his term.

...and of course, a fear that he WILL have to leave office and/or Republicans lose enough power that they can't prevent some repercussions.

I guess we'll find out if a president can pardon himself, soon.

Yes, but he doesn't care about the crimes they are committing as long as they benefit him in some way. He can give them assurance that he will pardon w/o really meaning it so that they continue to commit crimes to his benefit, then turn and ultimately only pardon himself - all he really cares about.
