I think 30k is an underestimate - because as you get more EVs then you see more charge networks and buying an EV becomes more worthwhile - a virtuous cycle

You also see more used EVs - which can fill out the bottom of the market

And more folks who have real experience and NO range anxiety

True, it's like how e-bike forecasts tend to underestimate the snowball effect. Also, more people with EVs = more people chatting about EVs at BBQs, family Christmas, etc, which also = more people learning about EVs at BBQs, etc. Information is power and it's also free, and contagious. Pass it on!

I don't think I've ever heard an EV owner complain about range anxiety
- or how expensive they are to run
- or how frequently they explode into flames (less frequently than ICE vehicles)
- or how expensive the oil change is ... what oil change?
