I was working for a computer company that had a lot of spare parts. I took the SE/30 apart and was able to put in like 4 MB of memory and a 100 MB SCSI drive. Ran System 7.6 like a banshee. It was awesome!

That sounds brilliant! SE/30 models are still fairly available for a cheap price in the US, but they usually need a lot of repair work, such as a clock battery removal and capacitor change.

Plenty of people keep them alive though because they are wonderful little computers.
